Welcome to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church

We, the people of Holy Redeemer Church, believe in the teachings of the Catholic Church and in the real Presence of Christ, Our Lord in the Eucharist. We are a community that prays together, and we give of our time, talent and treasure. We seek to be good examples of Christian living by loving one another as Christ loves us, and by placing high values on family life. We believe all human life has value from beginning to end. We see our parish as a family which includes the unborn, youth, singles, single parents, married, married parents, divorced, separated, widowed and seniors. Because we see Christ in others, we seek out and welcome ALL people.

Faith Formation Programs

Looking for a PSR program for next year?  We offer classes from K-8th grade!   Classes are Sundays following the 10:30am Mass in the CONVENT.  We will have our own space, cleaned and sanitized for our students safety.  We offer small, socially distant classes and family days to share together.  Join our program today!  Our gifted group of faith-filled catechists look forward to sharing their faith with your children.  Call Sandi at the rectory for info.

The RCIA Team will be starting their classes on Sunday, September 13th in the storefront following the 10:30am Mass to welcome new inquirers to learn more about the faith. If you are interested in becoming Catholic or finishing sacraments of Initiation as an adult please contact the rectory to sign up.

From the Desk of Fr. Marty

From the desk of Fr. Marty:

Hello to all of you and thank you for your continued prayers and support for our Holy Redeemer Parish in these challenging times.  I would like to share the good news with you that we are blessed to be having a 3rd year Candidate, Tom Ward,  for the Diaconate join us this year in ministry and service.  If you see him about, please welcome him and introduce yourself to him.

Tom is a police officer for the city of Cleveland and his home parish is the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist.  He has a wife, Christine, children and grandchildren that fill his days when he is not working.  He will be a lector and Eucharistic Minister at our 4pm Masses on Saturday and will hopefully be able to do some faith sharing sessions as we learn how to best restart some of our programs with our new covid safe restrictions.  Please keep him and all those in formation in your prayers.  Fr. Marty

Hello parishioners of Holy Redeemer!  My name is Tom Ward and I am in my 3rd year of the  Permanent Diaconate formation for the Diocese of Cleveland.   I have been given the great honor of being assigned to Holy Redeemer Parish as my current assignment.  I have been blessed by this journey and look forward to getting to know you all and the ministries and services that make Holy Redeemer so special.  God Bless.  Tom
