Welcome to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church

We, the people of Holy Redeemer Church, believe in the teachings of the Catholic Church and in the real Presence of Christ, Our Lord in the Eucharist. We are a community that prays together, and we give of our time, talent and treasure. We seek to be good examples of Christian living by loving one another as Christ loves us, and by placing high values on family life. We believe all human life has value from beginning to end. We see our parish as a family which includes the unborn, youth, singles, single parents, married, married parents, divorced, separated, widowed and seniors. Because we see Christ in others, we seek out and welcome ALL people.

LENT: A Time for Prayer, Fasting and Giving Alms

Dear Parishioners,

I would like you to know that I am praying for you during this difficult time. Each day I offer Mass alone for the intentions that have been requested and for the health and safety of all our parishioners. I encourage you to take time to invest in your spiritual life through the many opportunities for learning and prayer on formed.org, through the live streaming from different parishes, and the myriad of online and televised resources available.

Catholics have always joined together in prayer during times of crisis throughout the ages. We have ministered to the sick, attended to the dying and buried the dead. May this unprecedented time in our history be a time we remember who we are and whose we are. May we continue to love God and our neighbor. In addition, may we remember to pray for everyone involved as we weather the storm.

Be assured of my love and prayers for you and your family as we approach the Triduum and Easter, the holiest season of the year. Take time in your home to keep these days holy. Pray for the world and the end to the health crisis. God sacrificed His only Son for us to save us from sin and death and we must rejoice because we know that our true goal is eternal life in heaven.

Until we celebrate together again, my love to you all in Christ, Father Marty

An Easter Blessing My Lord, Jesus, You Have risen to new life! Give me new eyes with which to recognize your presence in the world around me. Sharpen my vision so that I see beyond the ordinary events of each day and into the extraordinary reality of your grace. Brighten my view of the world with renewed hope in the coming of your Kingdom. Soften my gaze so that I view others with the kind of tenderness and compassion you showed to so many. May each day of this Easter season provide glimpses of your glory. Amen.
